Type and Time
A poster featuring words “Type and time”.
With a wide range of possible interpretations, I turned to a physical concept of Spacetime.
I started with simple graphics gradually adding more color and dimension to my image.
I used simple and elegant sans serif font so that it would not pull the attention away from the main shape.
The color scheme represents a reference to space travels.
The final result represents a 3D shape with coordinates “Type” & “Time” merging the typo theme with my idea.
Spacetime is a mathematical model that fuses the three dimensions of space and one dimension of time into a single four-dimensional continuum.
Political prisoners
The poster was inspired by the Nobel Peace Prize lecture “Antidote against tyranny” delivered by Dmitry Muratov on 10 December 2021 at the Oslo City Hall in Norway.
The U.S. Department of State estimates that there are now over one million political prisoners worldwide. Even though there should be none.
Letter Design
On a commission to create brand new letters for a non-existent language, I experimented with Latin and Cyrillic alphabets and a wide range of fonts from gothic to very modern sans serifs.
Display solution: floor exhibition in chess style, reducing colour and emphasising shape.
