From scientific theories to cultural beliefs, from social structures to creative acts — we look at time as something that is perceived, constructed, excluded and imagined.

Maybe the future is not a place we are moving towards.

Maybe it is something we create, or something that will be subtracted.

We focused on subtraction as a creative method, the act of removing rather than adding. In this method, empty or negative space, the void are not seen as just a leftover, they become the main expressive tool, revealing clarity, tension and meaning. 

Through moiré, anamorphosis and existing sign systems we ask: what remains when things are subtracted?

Everything disappears.

Everything leaves a trace.
