The Book of Wind
This book is dedicated to the role of wind in nature and culture.
It tells the stories of the 5 winds from different regions of the world accompanied by beautiful prose and poetry pieces about wind written in local languages.
The book was meant to give a sense of lightnesss and dynamics, so the following solutions were used:
- transparent paper,
- one attachment point and no book binding,
- “fan” flipping principle
- typography as means of illustration,
- text layering on consecutive pages using transparency effect,
- cold tones for cold winds and warm for the hot.
Winds: Zephyr, Buran, Haboob, Föhn, Kamikaze.
